Today we ran our first 5k! Samantha has been working in the Girls on the Run program all winter and this was the culmination of that program, running the Girls on the Run 5k!
I was not prepared, it was much more difficult than I had anticipated! Frustrating, but motivating! On the other hand, Samantha did an incredible job! I am so proud of my girl, she is a tough cookie and will be a runner of some type.
This was an incredible experience with my oldest girl, she pushed me, I pushed her and we both finished strong! I love her spirit so much, more race videos to come, without a doubt!
