20+ Years in Engineering.

I started my career as a developer who just wanted to write code. Somewhere along the way, I discovered that my passion for solving hard technical problems extended to the human ones too. Over the last decade, continuing to find how deeply the two are connected.

Over 20+ years, I've grown from writing code to leading the people who write it, eventually building and leading 30+ engineers across multiple teams and products. I've stayed hands-on technically, building production applications and architecting systems that scale. And I've invested deeply in people, helping 18 individual contributors become engineering leaders themselves.

That's the work I care about most, the intersection of building great technology and developing the people who build it. Whether that's turning around a struggling team, helping someone find their leadership voice, or figuring out what's next for the product.
